Al Jones Corporation Helps Visually Impaired
Al Jones Corporation was founded in 2012, in Phoenix, AZ, USA, as an educational support service provider offering training and curriculum development in personal credit profile management and general financial literacy. In 2014, it changed its focus to developing games which would educate and entertain. That year, it developed Lyrics Guru®, the first cross-platform and real-time song lyrics trivia game, where the player receives series of song titles with lists of words and the player must match the correct word found within lyrics of the song.
In early 2015, it launched the Android and iOS app versions of the game. Later that year, Al Jones Corporation received a certificate of appreciation for its respecting sponsorship of The 2015 Mayor’s Disability Awards from the City of Tempe, AZ.
Prior to the ceremony, Al Jones, President of Al Jones Corporation, discussed with multiple attendees, the creation of a version of the Lyrics Guru® game for those with a visual impairment. “How soon will it be ready?” was a common response from those replying to him.
It was at that moment, he realized the magnitude of an under-served market in the general population which needs an expanded selection of fun and challenging entertainment developed in an alternative format.
In March 2016, it launched the playing card version designed for those with low vision.
Let your contribution help teens and adults with visual impairment, build their self-esteem interrelationships, when we manufacture, donate and deliver to them, 500 jumbo sized decks of the new playing card game, Lyrics Guru®.

We need to custom print manufacture, ship deliver the playing card decks within the Phoenix, AZ, metropolitan area, to organizations which provide services to teens and adults with a visual impairment.

The National Federation of the Blind’s Blindness Statistics, updated September 2015, discussed the State of Arizona has 157,100 non-institutionalized reported to have a visual disability in the year, 2013.

Al Jones Corporation, recognized the need for an expanded selection of games in alternative formats for those with visual impairments and accepts the challenge to develop them.
Our plan is to solve this challenge by developing the following:
- Large print, full color, colorblind barrier-free pallet, jumbo sized playing card game version of the game, Lyrics Guru®;
- Text based and voice controlled app version of the app, Lyrics Guru®;
- Tabletop version of the game, Lyrics Guru®;
- Text and voice controlled adventure games, where users direct the action by entering voice commands when prompted; and
- Multi-language versions of the text based and voice controlled app version of the app, Lyrics Guru®.
